Psalm 143:1

1O LORD, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief.

From Alec Ritchie:  I’d like to ask for prayers for my Mom – and thank you for your previous ones concerning her – she’s going in tomorrow for an interventional cardiac procedure, which I am told will be a shock to her system. I’m praying that she’ll be at peace beforehand, that the procedure will be minimally disruptive, and that it will have a positive effect upon her heart failure condition. Thanks and blessings.

From Mary Anne Busse-could you please send around this update on my mom:  My mom had a heart attack on Easter night and it took them 20 minutes to revive her.  She has no higher brain function and is on a ventilator.  She had an advance directive that she did not want extraordinary measures taken if she was in a persistent vegetative state.  So we are going to abide by those wishes and take her off the ventilator.  We’re waiting for my brother Chuck to get back to port from a cruise today and then we’ll make the final decision to let her go home.  She is almost 87 and has led a very full and miraculous life.  God is calling her to Himself and it’s time for us to let her go.  I was in Belize on a mission trip with our senior high youth group from church and came home early from the trip with a cold that has gotten worse.  My older brother is also very sick.  My brother in law’s mom is currently in the hospital after several heart attacks and she is on a ventilator.   The devil does not like when so many that belong to Christ are focused on the Lord.  We are holding strong, but need many prayers.  Please pray that my mom suffers no pain and that her passing into Heaven’s glory is swift and easy.  Please pray for health for my brother Mike and myself.  Please pray for my family that we can remain strong during this next week.  Please pray for my brother-in-law’s mom, Shirley Ivan for healing and comfort.  Thanks so much and God Bless!

From Donate Gardner:  Would you please add to your prayer list a young man who is very dear to my family?  He is looking for a job where he can learn new skills.  He was a third year apprentice as a steamfitter and recently was laid off.  He really would like to become a cabinet maker if the opportunity presents itself, but at this point, he is just eager to work and nervous about starting all over.  He is a hard worker and very strong.  Please pray that God will open his eyes to the right job opportunities -- either in his current trade as a steamfitter/HVAC specialist or a new one that will allow him to grow and regain his livelihood -- perhaps that he will find a new "niche" that will give him the chance to learn a new trade.  Also, please pray that he keeps up his courage and confidence.  He is a good and decent kid who was dealt some bad blows this past year.   Thank you for embracing him with your prayers.
